Today marks the 50th birthday of Superstar Mahesh Babu. The actor is currently working on a globe-trotting jungle action adventure directed by Indian cinema’s biggest director, SS Rajamouli. The film is tentatively titled “SSMB 29.” The tent-pole film is now in production.
Rajamouli has now shared Mahesh Babu’s pre-look from the film, which has already started setting social media on fire. The pre-look poster shows a close-up shot of the protagonist’s chest area. Mahesh is sporting a brown textured garment with black edges along the neckline. We can also see a pendant featuring a trident and a small silver cow.
There are also blood stains around the neck area, suggesting that this shot is from an intense action episode. Rajamouli thanked audiences for the love they have been showering on SSMB 29. The director feels that revealing mere pictures or press conferences cannot do justice to the project since its scope is vast.
A big and NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN reveal will be made in November 2025 by Rajamouli, through which he aims to showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world that the team is creating. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles.
