Tollywood actor Sree Vishnu is all set to star in ‘Comrade Kalyan’, an action-comedy directed by Janakiram Marella and presented by Kona Venkat. The film is being produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under the Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP banner.
Set in 1992 in the village of Madugula on the Andhra-Odisha border, the story follows the hunt for a Naxalite leader, Comrade Kalyan. The promo teases a twist where Kalyan himself pastes a wanted poster offering a reward for his capture. Despite the serious backdrop, the film promises humour, romance, and quirky comic moments.
The film stars Sree Vishnu in dual roles, alongside Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and Upendra Limaye. Behind the scenes, the project is supported by Vijay Bulganin on music, Sai Sriram handling cinematography, and Chota K Prasad in charge of editing.
With filming already halfway complete, ‘Comrade Kalyan’ is shaping up to be a fun-filled action-comedy entertainer that fans can look forward to.
