The Saiyaara storm is leaving Bollywood and trade circles in awe. The Mohit Suri directorial, starring young actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has surpassed several big-budget Hindi movies featuring leading stars and stood second in the list of 2025’s top Bollywood openers. The film releases today amid sky-high expectations.
As per the latest updates, Saiyaara has sold a whopping 1.95 lakh tickets in pre-sales at leading multiplex chains across the country. The film is next only to the blockbuster historical drama, Chhaava, which sold 2.23 lakh tickets. Saiyaara overtaking Bollywood biggies such as Salman Khan’s Sikandar (1.43 lakh), Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 (94,750), and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ (93,000) is a clear reflection of the massive craze among young movie lovers to witness the intense romantic drama over the weekend.
Saiyaara is produced by Akshaye Widhani, while hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films distributes it.
