Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ horror thriller Kishkindhapuri is enjoying a strong run at the box office. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, the film thrived on positive word of mouth, showing an upward trend through its first weekend. The movie continues to hold well even on weekdays and has already crossed the breakeven mark. Anupama Parameswaran played the female lead, and Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens produced the film.
To celebrate the success, the makers hosted a blockbuster meet in Hyderabad, which was graced by Sai Durga Tej (Sai Dharam Tej), Anil Ravipudi, Anudeep KV, Bobby Kolli, and Vassishta. Speaking at the event, Sai Durga Tej said, “Kishkindhapuri’s success belongs to the entire industry.”
He said, “I thank the media for supporting a good film. I share a close rapport with Sahu Garu. His brother is my classmate. I’ve known Sreenivas since our acting classes in Mumbai. It’s been a 15-year journey. We used to rock back then, and this event feels like a reunion. Vassishta and Kanishka are also my classmates, so it’s great to meet them all here. I’m eagerly waiting for Anil Ravipudi’s film with my uncle, Chiranjeevi Garu.”
The Virupaksha actor continued, “We are enjoying this success immensely. I feel Kishkindhapuri’s success belongs to the entire industry. Currently, the industry is in an evaluation phase. We need to bring fresh and exciting stories. Only then will audiences come to theatres. It’s our responsibility to deliver such films. Mirai, Kishkindhapuri, and Little Hearts are doing extremely well. I congratulate the entire Kishkindhapuri team on this memorable success.”
