National crush Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran, hit theatres on Friday. This female-driven drama also stars Deekshith Shetty in a significant role.

According to the makers, the film has grossed Rs. 20.4 crore in its first five days, registering a solid opening. The team will hold a success meet this evening at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad, after 6 PM, with Vijay Deverakonda gracing the event as the chief guest.

The cast also includes Anu Emmanuel, Rohini Molleti, Rao Ramesh, and others. Produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, the film is being distributed by Geetha Arts. Hesham Abdul Wahab and Prashanth R. Vihari have composed the music.
