The latest update reveals that the highly anticipated Special Ops Season 2 has been postponed. Initially, the second installment was set to premiere on July 11 on Jio Hotstar, but the makers have announced a new release date. Accordingly, the show will now premiere on July 18.
The protagonist, Kay Kay Menon, returns as R&AW officer Himmat Singh. This time, he and his team will deal with modern threats in the digital world instead of traditional battlefields. Kay Kay Menon stated that it is rare to find a character like Himmat Singh who challenges an actor both in performance and spirit.
Just like any other Jio Hotstar show, Special Ops 2 will be streaming in multiple languages from the said date. The web series also features Prakash Raj, Vinay Pathak, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Muzammil Ibrahim, and Kali Prasad Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
