OTT Releases This Week: Kantara Chapter 1, Lokah, Idli Kottu and More Coming to Prime Video, Netflix, Jio Hotstar, and Other OTT Platforms

As we step into the final week of October 2025, several new films and series are ready to light up your favourite OTT platforms. So grab your popcorn – there’s plenty to stream and enjoy.

Ridhi:

The romantic drama Ridhi, starring Raavan Reddy and Chandini Rao, is now streaming on ETV Win as part of the platform’s Katha Sudha series. Directed by Kishore Gunana, the film features music by Nithin and explores a tender love story told with emotional depth.

M3GAN 2.0:

The Hollywood sci-fi thriller M3GAN 2.0, directed by Gerard Johnstone, is now available for streaming on Peacock Hub via Jio Hotstar. Currently, the film is available in English and Hindi, with no Telugu version released yet.

Idli Kadai (Idli Kottu):

Actor Dhanush returns to the director’s chair for his fourth directorial venture, Idli Kadai, co-starring Nithya Menen. Following a mixed response in theatres, the emotional drama is now ready for its digital premiere on Netflix from October 29, 2025. The film will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Kantara Chapter 1:

One of the most awaited OTT arrivals, Kantara: Chapter 1, is confirmed to land on Amazon Prime Video on October 31, 2025, in multiple Indian languages. The anticipation is already high for this mystical action drama, and it promises to be a fitting close to an eventful month of OTT releases.

Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra

The Malayalam industry’s first female-led superhero movie, Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, became a sensational hit at the box office, emerging as the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan, the movie begins its OTT run on October 31, 2025, on Jio Hotstar, streaming in seven Indian languages, including Telugu.

Baaghi 4:

After a period of paid rental on Amazon Prime Video, Tiger Shroff’s flop film Baaghi 4, directed by A. Harsha, will be available to stream for free on the same platform starting October 31, 2025.
