The much-awaited OG is just a week away from hitting the big screens. This Pawan Kalyan starrer, directed by Sujeeth, completed its censor formalities today. Interestingly, the biggie received ticket rate hikes G.O., very well in advance from the AP government. The makers made sure to receive the permissions beforehand to ensure a smooth release and avoid the last-minute rush.
In AP, OG will have benefit shows at 1 A.M. on September 25 with a flat ticket price of Rs. 1000/- (including GST). For the regular shows, the ticket prices are increased by Rs. 125/- (including GST) in single screens. The revised fare will be Rs. Rs. 272.5/-
Coming to multiplexes, the ticket rate enhancement is Rs. 150/- (including GST) on the prevailing prices. The revised fare will be Rs. 327/-. The hiked rates will be in effect for a period of 10 days, i.e., September 25 to October 4. With these massive hikes and the Dussehra holiday season, They Call Him OG is expected to post mind-blowing numbers in Andhra Pradesh.
Surprisingly, the makers are allowed to screen only 5 shows per day including the first day. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, the movie features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead, and Thaman is the music composer.
