Nani’s highly-anticipated action drama, Dasara, is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 30 amid a lot of hype and positive buzz. The Natural Star has begun promoting this pan-India movie across major metro cities. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that Dasara is the most challenging film in his career till date.
Nani said that since Dasara is set in the backdrop of a coal mine in a fictitious village named Veerlapally in Telangana. Since he plays a rugged and rustic village youth who makes a living by stealing coal, Nani had to spend an hour to get four layers of make-up and one more hour to remove the make-up everyday.
Nani went on to reveal that he and the movie’s unit had escaped two major accidents on the film’s sets. The unit had shot in extreme climatic conditions and even braved an intense cold wave many days. Also starring Keerthy Suresh and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles, this high budget entertainer is directed by debutant Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
