This Friday, the horror mystery thriller Kishkindhapuri hits the big screens. Starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles, the film is directed by Koushik Pegallapati of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga fame. Sahu Garapati produced the movie under Shine Screens. The team has opted for affordable ticket pricing in the Telugu states, which is an appreciable move.
In Andhra Pradesh, ticket rates for single screens are capped at Rs. 145 and Rs. 115 (for different classes), while multiplex fares are set at Rs. 175. In Telangana, tickets in single-screens will cost a maximum of Rs. 150, and multiplex prices are capped at Rs. 250.
Exorbitant ticket prices have been a concern for the past few years, and the Kishkindhapuri team’s decision to keep rates pocket-friendly is likely to boost footfalls.
