Karan admitted that the pressure of constant failures made him believe it was better to step away from producing films and focus only on direction.

However, he eventually decided to continue, trusting his vision and the talent around him. Today, Dharma Productions stands as one of the biggest banners in Bollywood, backing both blockbusters and new talent.
