Sandalwood actor-director Rishab Shetty’s mythological fantasy drama, Kantara Chapter 1, was released on October 2nd and is storming the box offices across the world. Kantara Chapter 1 is the much-awaited prequel to the blockbuster Kantara.
Within two days of its release, Kantara Chapter 1 amassed a whopping Rs 150 crore plus gross at the worldwide box office. And on its day three, the film is gearing up for a massive finish. As per early estimates, Kantara Chapter 1 has already grossed over Rs 40 crore, and a Rs 45 crore finish looks quite certain.
The film’s collections are witnessing an upward trend with each passing day, and the Rs 200 crore milestone is just a day away. Interestingly, a major share of the film’s collection has been contributed by the Telugu version, reiterating the unconditional support extended by Telugu movie lovers to quality regional movies.
