Political action drama Jana Nayagan will be Thalapathy Vijay’s final outing, as the star is set to concentrate completely on politics after the film’s release. Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie is based on Balakrishna’s superhit Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari.
The makers recently unveiled the first single, “Thalapathy Kacheri.” As per the latest buzz, the team is expected to launch the second song on December 4, coinciding with Vijay’s 33 years in the industry. Later this month, a grand audio launch will be held in Malaysia as a tribute to Vijay. Buzz also suggests that the trailer will be revealed on New Year’s Eve.
Pooja Hegde plays the leading lady, while Mamitha Baiju appears in a crucial role. Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, and others round out the key cast. Anirudh is the music composer, and Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions is bankrolling this biggie.
