Popular playback singer and voice actor Chinmayi Sripada is well known and admired for her fiery social media posts. The National Award-winning singer was banned by the Tamil film dubbing artiste’s association after she leveled shocking #MeToo allegations against veteran Tamil poet Vairamuthu.
Chinmayi always voiced against harassment and abuse against women. In her latest X post, Chinmayi blasted popular choreographer Jani Master and singer Karthik, both of whom had faced sexual harassment allegations.
“I dont and will never understand the repeated platforming of Jani master or Singer Karthik. Putting power and influence AND money in the hands of men who misuse it is like saying – Here is my support go sexually assault,” tweeted the talented singer.
Chinmayi concluded her tweet, saying, “If there is a Karma theory at work – may it come back and bite them back.” Both Jani and Karthik are yet to respond to Chinmayi’s post.
