Summer is one of the advantageous seasons for films. Many filmmakers tend to release their movies to cash in on the long holiday period. This summer is not going to be any different. More films are lined up for release on April 14.
First on the list is Samantha’s PAN Indian film Shaakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar. The movie was supposed to release in November 2022, but the makers postponed it to April 14 to provide the audience with the best viewing experience. The film will also release in 3D, and the audience has good expectations on it.
Allari Naresh is coming up with yet another different subject this summer. Titled Ugram, the film is also set for a grand release on April 14. Vijay Kanakamedala, who gave a superhit like Naandhi to Naresh, is directing this project, and the release date announcement video is very promising.
Raghava Lawrence, who possesses a good following among the masses, is coming to entertain the audiences with Rudrudu (Rudran in Tamil), which is slated for a multi-lingual release on April 14. Directed by Kathiresan, the film is an action entertainer.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar is actually planned to release on April 14, but it is unlikely that it will hit screens on this date due to the pending shoot work. The latest buzz is that Vijay Antony’s directorial debut film Bichagadu 2 (Pichaikaran 2 in Tamil), will also release on April 14. The first part was a massive blockbuster in Telugu, and the recently released sneak peek raised curiosity.
