Prabhas’ blockbuster Salaar is going viral again on social media, but this time for an unexpected reason. Fans have noticed that a portion of the background score in the promo of the new Hollywood film The Lost Bus has a striking resemblance to the Ravi Basrur-composed BGM from Prashanth Neel’s action drama.

It’s not the content but the music that caught the attention of Telugu audiences. One netizen commented, “Listen to the background music from 1:13. It’s the same Salaar BGM.” Many fans opined that South Indian cinema’s influence has grown so big that even Hollywood seems to be borrowing from it.

While The Lost Bus’ promotional asset didn’t mention the details about its composer, the film’s main score is by James Newton Howard. Neither the Salaar team nor The Lost Bus team has issued an official statement yet, but social media is flooded with reactions and trolls over the uncanny similarity.
