Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is a special film as it marked the return of Karan Johar to direction after a very long time. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in this family drama. On its day one, the biggie collected 11 crores nett.
But the film picked up steam at the box office on the second day. It has shown a growth of over 40% and collected 16 crores nett, taking the two-day total to 27 crores. Today will be the biggest day for the film at the ticket windows, and it is expected to collect in the range of 18-20 crores.
It has to be seen how the film would sustain on the weekdays. Can the family drama collect around 125 crores? The performance during the weekdays will decide that.
