Movie lovers and fans of star music composer Devi Sri Prasad were in for a huge surprise when reports of DSP’s long-awaited acting debut with Dil Raju’s Yellamma made headlines a couple of days ago. The hotshot producer is yet to make a formal announcement on DSP joining this much-talked-about project.
Now, the latest buzz in Tollywood circles reveals that National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh is the front-runner to play the female lead opposite DSP in Yellamma. Incidentally, Keerthy was under consideration for the leading lady’s role after Sai Pallavi exited the project earlier this year. Dil Raju and Yellamma’s team are expected to come up with an official announcement regarding their film’s cast at an appropriate time.
Keerthy Suresh is also playing the lead role in Dil Raju’s recently launched project with Vijay Deverakonda, Rowdy Janardhana. Yellamma will be directed by actor-turned-director Venu Yeldandi, who made an impressive debut as a director with Balagam.
