Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is doing his next film with India’s biggest superstar Prabhas, titled Spirit. The movie’s teaser was released recently on Prabhas’ birthday, and it created a big buzz not only in Tollywood but also in Bollywood.
For the last few days, a rumour has been spreading online that Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing Prabhas’ father in Spirit. In his interaction with the Jigris team, Sandeep Reddy Vanga cleared the rumour and said that Chiranjeevi is not playing Prabhas’ father or any role in the movie. This put an end to all the false news going around.
On the other hand, when asked about South Korean actor Don Lee playing the villain, Sandeep Reddy Vanga did not confirm or deny it. His silence has left fans guessing, and many now think Don Lee might be part of the project.
According to reports, the film will go on floors in February 2026, and the pooja muhurat is expected to happen this month. Bhadrakali Pictures, in association with T-Series, is producing the movie on a huge scale, and it will be released in multiple foreign languages.
Actress Triptii Dimri, who rose to fame with Animal, is playing Prabhas’ love interest in Spirit. The rest of the cast will be announced soon. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is the music director for this big-budget film.
