Ever since hero Ram’s recently released action drama, Skanda, made its OTT debut, screenshots of a major goof up in one of Skanda’s massive action sequences have been going viral on social media. The screenshots reveal Skanda’s director Boyapati Sreenu acting as Ram’s body double in the fight sequence. Many felt that Boyapati and the editing team should have not taken enough care in the post-production instead of overlooking such a major goof up.
Reacting to the viral screenshots, Ram took to X and explained the actual reason behind the goof up and also posted a picture of his bruised foot. Ram said the particular fight sequence was shot on April 22, on one of the hottest days during the summer this year.
Ram went on to say that he had filmed the action episode on the third day of the 25-day schedule. “Couldn’t walk properly..went away for a bit after it started to bleed..so My Director wanted to get the shot right n did this one shot himself (sic),” revealed the Energetic Star.
Ram also said that while liking or disliking the content is totally the audience choice, he has and will continue to respect audiences’ opinions. “After all..all this is only For You..But I’d like to thank My Director for doing this specific shot for me,” Ram added, also saying, “shall continue to put my Blood & Sweat into everything I come to you with…with Zero expectations (sic).”
