Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up an intense and physically demanding 15-day schedule for the upcoming biopic ‘Battle of Galwan’ in Ladakh. Salman and the film’s unit battled harsh weather conditions in sub-zero temperatures and low oxygen levels to complete the schedule on time.
In Battle of Galwan, Salman Khan will portray Colonel Santosh Babu, the brave Indian army soldier who was martyred in a chilling hand-to-hand combat with the Chinese army in the Galwan Valley in 2020. The film’s second schedule will kick off in Mumbai next week.
Battle of Galwan is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is being planned for a summer 2026 release. The film is inspired by the best-selling book series India’s Most Fearless, which features true stories of extraordinary courage by Indian soldiers. The breathtaking action sequences shot in real locations in Ladakh will be the major highlight of this much-awaited patriotic drama.
