Ajith’s Thunivu, which was released this Pongal season, is doing good business. Though the movie opened to mixed reviews, the star power of Ajith is helping the film mint good numbers. Directed by H. Vinoth, this is a heist thriller.
The film has now joined the prestigious one-million-dollar club in the North American region. Thunivu has thus become the first film in Ajith’s career to achieve this feat. Ajith’s market is usually not so great in this region, but with Thunivu, the actor did the unthinkable.
The movie is still running well, and Ajith fans are highly elated as the film surpassed this elite one million mark. Boney Kapoor bankrolled the biggie in association with ZEE Studios. The movie also has Manju Warrier, Samuthrikani, John Kokken, and Pavani Reddy in other crucial roles. Ghibran scored the music for Thunivu.
