On his birthday this year, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, introduced his new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. He shared that they have been in a stable relationship for over a year. During a recent podcast, the acclaimed actor mentioned that his meeting with Gauri happened by chance.
Aamir stated, “Before I met Gauri, I felt like I had aged, and who will I find at this age. Also, my therapy started, and I understood that I need to make myself healthy and love myself first. Hence, I worked on that. Gauri and I met by mistake. We connected and became friends, and love happened. I have so many close relationships that I don’t need a partner.”
Aamir revealed that he first met Gauri 25 years ago, but they lost touch over the years due to personal and professional obligations. They reconnected two years ago, and their relationship has gradually deepened since then. Aamir expressed that he had been looking for someone who could bring him a sense of calm and peace, something he found in Gauri.
The Lagaan actor added that he regularly meets his ex-wives, Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta. On the professional front, the actor is now gearing up to entertain audiences with his new film Sitaare Zameen Par. Also starring Genelia Deshmukh in a lead role, the sports comedy drama is all set to hit the silver screens on June 20.
