Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is gearing up to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Kishkindhapuri, which hits screens this Friday. The actor has been radiating confidence about the film’s output and assured that it will deliver a solid theatrical experience. In a recent interview, Sreenivas went a step further and made a bold statement that has now become the talking topic on social media.

“A film is termed successful if it can hook the audience till the very end. Kishkindhapuri is one such film. If people start using their mobile phones after 10 minutes into the movie, I will quit the film industry. We’ve ensured the screenplay is tightly packed and worked hard on the sound, visuals, story, and narration,” said the actor.

Directed by Koushik Pegallapati of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga fame, the horror thriller features Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady. Produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens, the film has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

Su From So

The latest Kannada blockbuster Su From So has now made its way to Jio Hotstar. Six weeks after its theatrical release, the horror comedy has arrived on OTT. However, only the Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam versions are currently available for streaming.

The unavailability of the Tamil version has upset Kollywood audiences, who feel that they are being ignored by the OTT platform. Generally, when a film releases on Jio Hotstar after its theatrical run, it is made available in major Indian languages, but that didn’t happen with Su From So, much to the disappointment of Tamil fans.

The word in the Kollywood circles is that Su From So makers sold the remake rights to a Kollywood producer, and that the horror comedy will soon be made in Tamil. This is said to be the reason why the streamer hasn’t released the Tamil dubbed version.

Su From So is directed by J.P. Thuminad, who also plays one of the leads. Produced by Raj B. Shetty under his Light Buddha Films banner, Su From So also features Shaneel Gautham, Sandhya Arakere, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Mime Ramdas in key roles.
