Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra has been a major success at the box office. Director Dominic Arun, lead actors Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, producer Dulquer Salmaan, and the rest of the team are thrilled with the audience response and the collections.
The film is now approaching a Rs. 200 crore global gross, but the Hindi release has yet to make a mark. Following its success in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil, the makers released the film in Hindi on September 4, 2025.
Alia Bhatt, Tripti Dimri, Priyanka Chopra, and Samantha have all spoken highly of this female superhero movie. The Hindi release, however, has struggled at the box office. In five days, it barely raked in less than Rs. 2 crore, much lower than what the film pulled in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil.
Audience response in North India has been lukewarm. With films like Baaghi 4 and Param Sundari taking the spotlight, Lokah hasn’t found the same traction. How much it will add to the overall collections remains unclear.
Celebrity stylist Neeraja Kona is turning director with Telusu Kada. The film is a romantic drama starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty.
The team has confirmed that the teaser will be out on September 11, 2025, at 11:11 AM. They put out a vibrant poster to share the update.
Raashii recently wrapped up her shoot and said she was happy with how it turned out. The makers have fixed October 17, 2025, for the release.
The film will be out in Telugu, and it’s also getting dubbed into Tamil and Kannada. People Media Factory is producing the movie, and Thaman is scoring the music.
