Mirai

Mirai

Mirai, headlined by Teja Sajja, is scheduled for a grand release on September 12. The movie is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, and directed by Karthik Gattamneni. Unlike recent mid-range films, the Mirai team didn’t opt for ticket price hikes.

Speaking at the pre-release event, Teja Sajja revealed that he requested the producer and distributors to go ahead with the existing rates. “You will see Mirai at affordable rates in all places. There are no ticket rate hikes. Everyone should encourage the producers for this move. I personally requested the producer to price the tickets affordably,” stated Teja Sajja.

The young talent added, “We made a movie that can be watched by the entire family. Hence we opted for affordable rates. Mirai is a mix of devotion, emotion, action, and adventure. There are two surprises in the movie that we haven’t revealed yet. Please watch the film in theatres. Don’t encourage piracy.”

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is set to entertain audiences with the horror thriller Kishkindhapuri. The movie, also starring Anupama Parameswaran, is scheduled to release this Friday. During Kishkindhapuri promotions, Sreenivas opened up about the underperformance of his recent release, Bhairavam, which was a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Garudan.

“Bhairavam’s story excited me immensely. But at the end of the day, it was a remake. The media labelled it as a remake in every article. I won’t say they were wrong. It’s a fact that Bhairavam was a remake, and hence it couldn’t excite the audience enough to buy a ticket. While signing the project, I thought many here wouldn’t have watched the original film. But my calculation went completely wrong,” stated the Jaya Janaki Nayaka actor.

However, Bellamkonda Sreenivas doesn’t regret doing the film. He added that Bhairavam gave him scope to prove himself as a performer and showed that he could pull off a mass role set against a rural backdrop. The actor is now confident that Kishkindhapuri will strike a chord with the audience. Let’s see if that happens.
