Do you remember actress Rekha, who captured hearts with her Telugu debut film Anandam, directed by Sreenu Vaitla? Following the success of Anandam, she appeared in popular films like Dongodu, Okato Number Kurrodu, Janaki Weds Sriram, and also played a cameo in Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu. However, after a while, Rekha stepped away from Telugu cinema and disappeared from the limelight.

Now, Rekha is all set to make her comeback in Tollywood. The Karnataka-origin actress made her debut at a young age, without any industry backing or a godfather to guide her. Around the same time, she also started receiving offers from Sandalwood, but after 2014, she chose to take a break due to personal reasons, including health concerns. After regaining her strength, Rekha has decided to return to what she does best—acting.

The actress is looking forward to roles that excite and challenge her as a performer, and she is also open to impactful characters in OTT shows. Recently, Rekha launched her official Instagram handle and has been actively connecting with her fans. She still carries the charm of her Anandam days, truly aging like fine wine.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see her grace the silver screen once again. Rekha’s admirers can now connect with her directly on her Instagram handle and stay updated on her journey.

Nara Rohit is busy promoting his upcoming film, Sundarakanda. Directed by Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, the comedy entertainer is slated to hit the big screens on August 27. Sridevi Vijay Kumar and Vriti Vaghani are the female leads. In a recent interview, Nara Rohit revealed that he has watched Coolie but hasn’t seen Jr. NTR’s War 2 yet.

The Prathinidhi actor said, “I go to the theater if there are any exciting films. If I don’t get time, I watch on OTT. I recently watched Coolie. I liked it in bits and pieces. Overall, it was an okay film. I haven’t watched War 2 yet. Friends insisted on watching Coolie first. That’s why I preferred Coolie first. I will try to watch War 2 sometime after the release of Sundarakanda.”

Talking about his relationship with NTR, Nara Rohit added, “We don’t meet on a regular basis, but whenever we do, it’s very cordial. Phone calls are also less frequent between us, but we always have a warm conversation whenever we meet.”
