Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula’s social drama Kuberaa is set to release on June 20. King Nagarjuna and sensational actress Rashmika Mandanna play vital roles. The makers are currently working around the clock to complete post-production.
We have already reported that Amazon Prime Video acquired Kuberaa’s post-theatrical streaming rights. The latest news is that the makers agreed to have a four-week theatrical window. This simply means Kuberaa’s Hindi version will not be released in national chains (PVR-INOX & Cinepolis).
Only the Hindi versions of those films with an 8-week theatrical window will be allowed to screen in national chains. Currently, Housefull 5 is the only movie doing well in the Hindi belt, and there is enough space in the market for other films.
With the likes of Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika, Kuberaa had the opportunity to strike gold in North India, but with the limited release, that isn’t possible now. The theatrical trailer will be unveiled shortly. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
Peddi is already riding high on expectations, and it soared even further after that thunderous batting shot by Ram Charan in the teaser that dropped a few months ago. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film pairs him with Janhvi Kapoor, adding fresh chemistry to the big-screen spectacle.
Such is the impact of that single shot — fans from Gudikal village in Andhra Pradesh took their admiration to the next level by celebrating Yeruvaka Pournima in true Peddi style. Dressed in Ram Charan’s iconic look from the film, their celebration became a talking point online, reflecting the deep-rooted fan frenzy Charan commands across generations.
The video of the village celebration is now going viral, once again proving why Ram Charan is not just a star, but a cultural phenomenon. With Peddi set to release in cinemas on March 27, 2025, expectations are sky-high. The film is backed by Vriddhi Cinemas with music composed by the maestro AR Rahman. The Peddi storm is only getting started — stay tuned for more!
