Superstar Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli joined hands for a globe-trotting adventure tentatively titled ‘SSMB 29.’ The visionary director is known for seamlessly blending Indian history and mythology into his films. According to an exclusive report in Peeping Moon.com, SSMB 29 centers on the mythical sanjeevani booti, a magical herb from the Ramayana.

The report mentioned, “It is an Indiana Jones-style action adventure that follows Mahesh Babu’s character on a globe-trotting quest to find sanjeevani booti, a legendary plant believed to have the power to revive the dead. Rajamouli and his father, veteran screenwriter K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, have intricately woven elements from the Ramayana into the narrative to craft an epic and ancient saga.”

In the Ramayana, when Lord Ram’s brother Lakshman, is gravely wounded by a mighty weapon unleashed by Ravana’s son Indrajit, a desperate search begins for a cure. To save him, Lord Hanuman is sent to the Himalayas to find the life-restoring herb Sanjeevani booti.

If the report turns out to be true, it will be a delight to watch this plot on the big screens. Global Star Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead, while Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is reportedly the antagonist. KL Narayana of Durga Arts is bankrolling the big-ticket entertainer. Oscar-winner MM Keeravani is composing the music.
