It’s been earlier reported that young hero Raj Tarun’s next film will be a youthful entertainer. The makers released the film’s title and first look poster just a while ago. The film is interestingly titled Stand Up Rahul, with the tagline ‘Kurchundi Chaalu’. The poster has Raj Tarun in a confused state. He appearts stylish in a new hairdo.

Stand Up Rahul is a coming-of-age feel-good romance comedy and Middle Class Melodies girl Varsha Bollamma plays the leading lady in it. Raj plays a stand-up comic who doesn’t really stand up for anything in life. Debutant Santo Mohan Veeranki is directing the movie, while Nandkumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri under Dream Town Productions and HighFive Pictures banners. Sweekar Agasthi is the music composer.

Fans and colleagues are yet to come to terms with the unexpected demise of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput. After his film Chichchore won the National Award for Best Hindi Film, his co-star and Tollywood hero Naveen Polishetty to Twitter and posted an emotional tweet.

“Chhichhore wins the National award for Best Hindi film. And Jathi Ratnalu is a blockbuster. I know you are watching Sushant. This one is for you . Miss you bhai,” Naveen, who played Acid in Chichchore, tweeted. The actor went on to congratulate his director Nitesh Tiwari, his co-stars in the movie and the entire team. Naveen is currently promoting Jathi Ratnalu in the US.

Being a celebrity or a notable entity on social media is no mean feat and it often comes with unlimited hate and abuse. Apart from muting or blocking and even filing police complaints in a very few cases is the only option to deal with abusive troll.

In a latest incident, leading Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers’ Twitter handle surprised everyone by tweeting that all the abusive tweeters will be blocked. “Let’s join Hands for a Happy Social Media Space. Reply with Handshake if you are Game,” the tweet read further.

Mythri Movie Makers has collaborated with leading Tollywood stars and is currently bankrolling as many as seven big budget movies which are in various stages of production. The makers are often bombarded with requests, threats and abuses by enthusiastic fans for updates on their favourite hero’s film. It’ll be interesting to see if Mythri’s warning will bring in any positive change.

All abusive tweeters will be BLOCKED.
