It is a known fact that Mahesh Babu is a hot cake for big brands as he has a pan-India reach. Some of the biggest brands in India approach Mahesh and rope him as their brand ambassador.

A few days back, Mahesh shot for two of the biggest brands, and one of the Ads was canned by star director Trivikram. The update is that Trivikram was paid a whopping 30 lakhs to shoot this Ad.

Generally, in Mumbai, when a star director shoots such Ads, he is given 10 to 12 lakhs. But Trivikram has taken 30 lakhs, and that too for a day’s shoot shows what kind of a craze Trivikram commands in the film business.

A film in the combination of Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin was formally announced a few months ago. The film was supposed to go on the floors from January this year but the shooting is being delayed due to various reasons.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that direction Nag Ashwin has been working on the pre-production activities and is expected to kick-start the film’s regular from the month of August.

Said to be a sci-fi thriller, this as-yet-untitled film also has Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. Senior producer Ashwini Dutt will be bankrolling the movie.

The much-awaited title and first look poster of hero Nithiin’s 30th film has been unveiled just a while ago as a birthday special treat for fans. The film has been titled Maestro and the first look features Nithiin as a visually challenged man, as he walks on with a walking stick.

Maestro also features star heroine Tamannaah and young beauty Nabha Natesh in lead roles. This intellegent crime thriller is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy under Sreshth Movies.

Maestro is slated for release on June 11. Young music director Mahati Swara Sagar is again composing the soundtrack for a Nithiin-starrer after Bheeshma.
