Sanjana Sarathy, the young Kollywood actress who played Thalapathy Vijay’s sister in AR Murugadoss’ 2012 blockbuster, Thuppakki, is all set to make her debut in Tollywood. Sanjana will be seen playing the female lead in young hero Naveen Chandra’s upcoming romantic family entertainer.

This as-yet-untitled film also features young beauty Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu and Uyyala Jampala fame in a crucial role as Naveen’s sister. The film’s shooting has been wrapped up already and the post-production formalities are underway at the moment. Sanjana is quite excited about her Tollywood debut and she is eagerly looking forward to the film’s release.

The makers of the upcoming youthful entertainer, Ek Mini Katha, have been promoting the movie in an innovative manner for the last few days. The film stars young actors Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar in lead roles.

In a latest promotional strategy, Ek Mini Katha’s team has roped in the Bigg Boss pair Ariyana, and Avinash to interview Santosh and Kavya. Needless to say, the interview has a lot of fun moments, while Santosh also explains the basic plot of the film and also hints that the Ek Mini Katha has a unique and unexplored plot. Also, don’t miss those fun questions on the tagline “Does Size Matter?”

Ek Mini Katha is directed by Karthik Rapolu and it is jointly produced under UV Concepts and Mango Mass Media banners.

Tamil stalwart actor Super Star Rajinikanth fell ill and was hospitalized in Hyderabad in December last year. However, much to everyone’s relief, Rajini recovered quickly and flew back to Chennai. After more than a couple of months of rest, Rajini recently resumed the shooting for his highly-anticipated family entertainer, Annaatthe.

Annaatthe’s shooting is underway at a film studio in Chennai. According to the latest reports coming in from Kollywood circles, a team of doctors are hired to monitor Rajini’s health on the sets. Given the raging pandemic and the harsh summer, having doctors on set to take care of the legendary actor only seems a well thought out move.

Also starring Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles, Annaatthe is being directed by Siva and produced under Sun Pictures banner. The film is scheduled for release during the upcoming Diwali festive season.
