The makers of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush recently revealed that rising hero Sunny Singh has been roped in to play Laxman’s role in this epic retelling of Ramayana. Sunny has already begun shooting for his part in this highly-anticipated pan-India mythological magnum opus.

In a latest interview, Sunny Singh opened up about his preparation for Laxman’s role in Adipurush. He said that he watched Ramayan in his childhood, but he only concentrated on the story and not the characters. But after signing Adipurush, he again watched the entire series and particularly noticed Laxman’s body language and mannerisms.

Sunny Singh also revealed that he is currently undertaking archery lessons since his character needs to exhibit archery skills in the movie. Being directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is slated for release on August 11, 2022.

“I don’t know how and when Bunny was first given the title Stylish Star. But after seeing his amazing performance in Pushpa, I felt that there’s no connection between the Stylish Star title and his acting skills,” these were Pushpa’s director Sukumar’s words about Allu Arjun at the film’s teaser launch event last night.

“Bunny is very unique. Each and every film that he chooses to be part of is unique. Starting from his dressing style, he is a unique person in everything he does. From now on, he is not a Stylish Star, but he is an Icon Star. People used to call Bunny as Arya those days. But after Pushpa, they must either call him an Icon Star or Pushpa,” said Sukumar, explaining why he chose to give the Icon Star title to Allu Arjun.

The highly-anticipated teaser for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was launched in a grand event on the eve of the actor’s birthday last night. The teaser features a single dialogue by Allu Arjun ‘Thaggede Le’ and it’s going viral on social media.

During his speech at the event, Allu Arjun revealed that ‘Thaggede Le’ is something he often tells himself in real life. “Thaggede Le’ is a word the hero often uses in the movie, but I always say that to myself whenever I feel scared and insecure or experience failure,” said Allu Arjun.

Also starring Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar and produced under Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Muttamsetty Media. The film has its soundtrack scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
