Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film, Vakeel Saab, has had a solid first weekend at the box-office worldwide. Even though the official numbers are yet to be reported, the film has collected close to Rs 90 crore gross across the world with a distributor share of nearly Rs 60 crore.

Vakeel Saab is all set to break into the Rs 100 crore club on Monday. The film has witnessed drops in the Monday bookings compared to the first three days. On the other hand, whether or not Vakeel Saab will manage to surpass the $1 million milestone in the US remains to be seen. The film has grossed nearly $660K until the latest updates. The film needs to gross approximately $1.3 million to break even in the USA.

Hero Ravi Teja scored a huge hit with Krack a few months back and he is now back in the game big time. He has lined up a solid list of movies which will be hitting screens later this year. He recently okayed an action entertainer narrated by a debut director named Sarath Mandava.

Apparently, just like how Krack was inspired by real incidents that took place in Ongole several years ago, the Ravi Teja-Sarath movie too is inspired by real incidents. As reported recently, the film will be high on action. Sudhakar Cherukuri, the producer of Virata Parvam, is going to bankroll this project. An official announcement is expected to be out soon.

If the ongoing buzz in Kollywood circles is anything to go by, stalwart Tamil actors Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth will be locking horns with each other at the box-office during the upcoming Diwali festive season in November first week. Already, the makers of Rajini’s Annaatthe had announced that the film will be hitting screens on November 4.

Now, the latest buzz is that even Kamal’s Vikram will be opening in cinemas on the same day, leading to an imminent clash at the box-office. If the news turns out to be true eventually, this will be the second time in 16 years that Kamal and Rajini’s movies will be clashing at the box-office. Their 2005 movies, Mumbai Express and Chandramukhi, released on the Tamil New Year.
