Kollywood geniuses Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman have reunited once again for legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated gangster drama, Thug Life. The makers unveiled the film’s first single ‘Jinguchaa’ to kick off the promotions.

As expected, the Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman duo has created magic once again with this peppy celebratory dance number, which is being touted as the wedding anthem of the season by fans and music lovers. Jinguchaa’ features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR rocking the dance floor with their energy. Young Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra makes a special appearance in this addictive song.

Rahman skillfully blends earthy folk rhythms with contemporary flair for the lyrics penned by Kamal Haasan himself. Playback singers Vaishali Samant, Shakthisree Gopalan & Adithya RK breathe energy with their vocals.

Thug Life also features star heroine Trisha, acclaimed Malayalam actor Joju George, and young Tamil actor Ashok Selvan in lead roles. Raaj Kamal Films International, R. Mahendran, Madras Talkies, and Siva Ananth jointly bankrolled this prestigious project, which is scheduled for release on June 5, 2025.
