The Telugu Film Producer’s Council has taken a key decision regarding the film shooting in view of the surge in COVID-19 positive cases across the country and especially in the twin Telugu states. The TFPC has issued a press note, stating that only ’emergency shootings’ will take place at the moment.

The TFPC further said that all the shooting units will consist of only 50 cine workers. Also, even the post-production works must be carried out with a limited crew that too following all the SOPs prescribed by the state and central governments.

It’s well known that, already, several medium and high budget films’ shootings have been stalled temporarily and release dates delayed due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the second wave.

Fans and colleagues were shocked and anxious when reports of hero Pawan Kalyan testing positive for COVID-19 went viral a couple of days ago. Pawan is currently quarantined at his farmhouse under doctors’ supervision 24/7.

Earlier today, Pawan released a message and assured all the worried fans that his health is improving and that he is recovering well. Pawan went on to urge everyone to be more cautious about COVID-19, as the deadly virus is again wreaking havoc and destroying many lives.

Pawan also lamented the sad state of our health systems, where there’s a severe shortage of ventilators and beds in hospitals for COVID positive people. Pawan urged the governments to be proactive in addressing these burning issues at the earliest.

Aditi Rao Hydari has worked with the likes of Mani Ratnam and Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the years, and she has a bunch of critically acclaimed films and performances to her credit. Now, she is back in news again for her terrific performance in Ajeeb Dastaans, a Netflix anthology produced by Dharma Productions.

The actress appeared in a short film titled Geeli Pucchi alongside Konkana Sen Sharma, and it was directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, who had previously directed Masaan. Not only are Aditi and Konkana being hailed for their wonderful performances, but the short film itself has also been receiving rave reviews for its portrayal of LGBTQ relationships, caste discrimination among other themes.

No wonder, Aditi is on cloud nine with the reaction from the audience for her work, and one can only wish that it leads to more interesting roles coming her way in near future. In Telugu, the actress is part of Ajay Bhupathi’s Maha Samudram which also has Sharwanand, Siddharth, and Anu Emmanuel.
