Young hero Akhil Akkineni is currently working on his new movie. The as-yet-untitled film is being helmed by Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’s director, Murali Kishore Abburu. Akhil’s home banner, Annapurna Studios, is bankrolling the project in association with Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments.
Akhil’s new movie is currently underway in Hyderabad. The next schedule is planned in Chittoor. Apparently, the film is set in Chittoor district, and Akhil will be learning the local dialect to bring in authenticity to his character. Incidentally, Akhil’s brother Naga Chaitanya aced the Srikakulam dialect quite well in his blockbuster seaside love story, Thandel. Akhil will be following his brother’s footsteps for his upcoming movie.
The film is a rural romantic action drama. The story is set in a place named Bharatham Metta in Chittoor. The next schedule will begin in April. Meanwhile, Akhil’s previous movie, Agent, is currently streaming on SonyLIV. Stay tuned for further updates.
