The team behind the Telugu dark comedy Psych Siddhartha, starring Shree Nandu, has moved the film’s release from December 12, 2025 to January 1, 2026. The shift comes after Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 jumped to the same December 12 slot, forcing a few smaller and mid-range films to rethink their plans.
To make the announcement, the makers put out a fun video featuring Shree Nandu alongside presenter Rana Daggubati. The two casually explained the date change, keeping the tone light and in sync with the film’s quirky vibe. The movie also stars Yaamini Bhaskar, with music by Smaran Sai.
Backed by Nanduness Keep Rolling Pictures and presented by Spirit Media, Psych Siddhartha will now arrive on New Year’s Day, a window the team hopes will give the film a cleaner run and a more relaxed audience.
