Netflix is one of the biggest OTT platforms in the world with more than 300 million paid subscribers. It is not limited to foreign countries. It is strong in India too, and the platform is pushing more regional titles to reach wider audiences. The latest example is the addition of the Gujarati film Vash Level 2.
For the last two days, a rumour has been spreading across social media that Netflix added a new feature called “Skip Adult Scene.” Many posts on X and Instagram claimed that Netflix introduced a button that lets users skip intimate scenes in movies.
Everyone knows how awkward it gets when we watch a film with family and suddenly an adult scene appears on screen. So this rumour quickly caught attention and many believed it.
But the truth is simple. Netflix did not add any such feature. The screenshots showing a “Skip Adult Scene” button are completely fake. They are just edited images and memes shared online.
Many users across the world have been asking Netflix to bring this option, hoping it would make family viewing easier. But as of now, Netflix has not shown any sign of adding it. Whether the platform will consider this request or ignore it and focus on other features is up to them.
