Santhana Prapthirasthu, starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary in the lead roles, is set for release this Friday. Bankrolled by Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, with Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy serving as producers, the film is directed by Sanjeev Reddy. The film, which sheds light on male infertility, stars director Tharun Bhascker in a key role.
Tharun Bhascker, who recently watched the preview, lauded the film. “While shooting for this film, I had some doubts. But after watching it, my doubts were cleared. It’s a decent film. We would have seen Ayushmann Khurrana’s films in Bollywood. Santhana Prapthirasthu gives such a feeling. The film shows infertility entertainingly and emotionally. It gives the satisfaction of having good Telugu meals.”
He added,” The film will be light-hearted. It won’t be over-dramatic. I play Jack Reddy, and such people can be seen in real life. They may look rough, but they are soft inside. We can make spin-offs to this character too. Director Sanjeev Reddy made this film with utmost clarity. Vikrant and others did a fine job. We made an honest attempt, and please encourage it.”
