Dhanush’s upcoming movie Idly Kadai features him not only as the lead actor but also as the director. The film is set for release in Telugu under the title Idly Kottu and will hit the screens on October 1, 2025.
As part of its promotions, the Idly Kadai team has adopted an innovative approach by collaborating with Zepto, a quick-commerce company known for delivering essentials within minutes. The delivery carry bags have been customised with Dhanush’s picture and the movie’s title, creating quite an impression. With lakhs of orders being delivered daily in Chennai, this marks the first-ever collaboration of its kind for a South Indian film.
The recently released trailer has already created a strong buzz around the movie. Nithya Menen plays the female lead, while Arun Vijay takes on the antagonist’s role. Veteran actor Rajkiran appears in a special role. The film is jointly produced by Dawn Pictures and Wunderbar Films, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
