Since SSMB29 started shooting, fans of Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli have been wondering one thing besides the release date: will it be a single film or split into two parts? There have been plenty of rumours, but nothing official, until now.
The Kenyan outlet, The Star, also mentioned that the movie, reportedly costing over $135 million, is planned as two parts. Fans waiting for updates finally have some relief, though the team hasn’t officially confirmed this yet.
The other day, it was reported that the director Rajamouli, producer KL Narayana, and the team met Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs. He confirmed that the film is set to release in 120 countries.
A few weeks ago, the director announced that the first look from the film will drop in November 2025, which has already got fans excited.
Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumar, and others are playing important roles in the film, produced under Durga Arts with music by Oscar winner MM Keeravaani. Fans are in for surprises, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for updates.
