This past Friday saw the release of two big films: Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Among the two, Lokah has clearly won over audiences more.

Ticket sales reflect this trend as well. Over the past 24 hours, Lokah sold more than 2.98K tickets on BookMyShow, while Param Sundari recorded around 1.50K, roughly half the numbers of the Malayalam superhero movie.

While Param Sundari has received mixed reviews, Lokah is being praised across the board.

The superhero film is expected to see even stronger numbers on Sunday, with momentum likely to continue into the coming week. Directed by Dominic Arun, the film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan.
