Mirai

The theatrical trailer of Teja Sajja’s Mirai received a unanimous response from the audience. The story, visuals, and action blocks looked excellent, and the production house, People Media Factory, is being hailed for pulling off such high-quality content within a modest budget.

The makers have now sold the Telugu version’s theatrical rights for Rs. 24.5 crores globally. This is a smart move by producers despite the film carrying very good hype. TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad could have easily sold the film for a much higher price, but doing that would reduce the profit margin for distributors.

This way, the breakeven mark seems easily achievable. If the reports are good, Mirai could mint crazy profits for buyers, and the risk is very minimal. The area-wise breakeven details for the Telugu version are as follows:

USA: Rs. 4.5 Cr
Andhra: Rs. 8 Cr
Nizam: Rs. 7 Cr
Ceded: Rs. 3 Cr
Karnataka: Rs. 2 Cr

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie is a fantasy entertainer. Manoj Manchu, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram played prominent roles. Gowra Hari is the music composer.
