Ranveer Singh has teamed up with Uri director Aditya Dhar for an espionage thriller titled Dhurandhar, slated to release on December 5. The film’s first-look teaser has been well received by the audience and will start playing in theatres from today. Also featuring Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Madhavan in key roles, the project has generated solid buzz.
According to the latest report in Peeping Moon, Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar are also in talks for a mythological subject. The duo, who developed a strong bond during the making of Dhurandhar, are reportedly eager to collaborate once again. However, the report clarified that this project has nothing to do with The Immortals of Ashwatthama.
While the script work is yet to begin, Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar are said to be exploring a larger-than-life character rooted in Hindu mythology. If the news turns out to be true, the box office performance of Dhurandhar will ultimately decide the fate of this big-budget venture.
