AR Murugadoss is facing the heat from Salman Khan fans as the filmmaker blamed the Bollywood actor for the poor output of Sikandar. Some say that the complaints made by AR Murugadoss are nothing but excuses for hiding his flaws. The director’s next outing is Madharaasi, headlined by Sivakarthikeyan.
In an interview with Galatta Plus, it was revealed that Madharaasi will have a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Justifying the lengthy runtime, Murugadoss said, “Nowadays, audiences are even watching the whole web series in one go, if we present it interestingly. Madharaasi was presented in a captivating manner. So this runtime will be apt for the film.”
Murugadoss is being criticised for his comments on Salman Khan, and the director must score a hit with Madharaasi at any cost to prove his worth. Madharaasi features Rukmini Vasanth and Vidyut Jammwal as the leading lady and antagonist, respectively. The action thriller is slated to hit the big screens on September 5.
