A few days ago, a heartfelt video of veteran actress K Vasuki, fondly remembered for her role as Paakija, surfaced online. In the video, she emotionally pleaded to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, seeking help as she was going through severe financial distress. The video quickly gained attention and eventually reached the leader.
Staying true to his nature as a responsive leader and compassionate human being, Pawan Kalyan wasted no time in offering support. On Tuesday, at the Janasena Party office in Mangalagiri, Government Whip Sri P. Hariprasad and P. Gannavaram MLA Sri Giddi Satyanarayana handed over Rs. 2 lakh to Vasuki on behalf of Pawan Kalyan.
Overwhelmed with emotion, the actress broke down in tears of gratitude, thanking Pawan Kalyan for the help and everyone who helped her video reach him. It was a moment filled with relief and hope.
Vasuki began her journey in cinema back in 1987 with a Tamil film and made her Telugu debut in Assembly Rowdy alongside Mohan Babu. She went on to act in numerous Telugu films but, over time, faded from the limelight and found herself with no support system.
Following this generous gesture, there’s hope that the Tamil Nadu government and the film fraternity might also step forward to offer further assistance. With this much-needed help, there’s a possibility that her life could take a positive turn. Here’s hoping better days lie ahead for the actress.
