Sekhar Kammula’s latest outing, Kuberaa, spearheaded by Dhanush, is on its way to becoming a commercial success at the Tollywood box office. The movie, which also stars King Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, registered excellent numbers in its first weekend in the Telugu states.
The movie is showing a remarkable trend, particularly in the Nizam region. In its first three days, the film earned a distributor share of Rs. 9.5 crores in this territory. On the make-or-break Monday, the social drama collected Rs. 1.4 crores share, taking the four-day collection to nearly Rs. 11 crores share.
The fourth-day hold is 51% of the opening-day numbers in Telangana, which is an impressive feat. Kuberaa will have a steady run until this Thursday, and its performance later will depend on how Kannappa fares. Kuberaa also stars Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, and Sayaji Shinde in supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
