Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone made headlines today with two major rumours-and interestingly, both are tied to Telugu cinema. One involves Prabhas’ Spirit, and the other is Allu Arjun’s 22nd film.
According to reports doing the rounds, Deepika is said to be out of Spirit. Buzz is that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his team weren’t happy with her reported conditions related to shooting schedules, remuneration, and other factors. If true, the makers may now be scouting for a replacement.
On the other hand, there’s also a more exciting rumour floating around-Deepika might team up with director Atlee for his next with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Rumours say she’s almost finalised for one of the lead roles. If it works out, this would mark her immediate film with Atlee after the blockbuster Jawan.
So in a single day, Deepika was in the news for both a possible exit and a big new entry. As of now, both updates remain unconfirmed-we’ll have to wait for official word from the teams involved.
