The trailer of Thug Life has set the internet buzzing, especially among fans of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam – two cinematic legends reuniting after over two decades. The pan-Indian action drama is all set to hit the big screens on June 5, 2025, and the promotional campaign is already gaining strong momentum.

In a fresh update, the makers have locked the film’s runtime at 2 hours and 45 minutes (165 minutes). For an intense and high-stakes action narrative, the duration feels just right – promising enough space for drama, spectacle, and emotional heft. The movie is certified U/A.

Featuring a powerful ensemble cast including Trisha, Silambarasan (Simbu), Nasser, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, and others, Thug Life is mounted on a massive scale. The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Films.

Adding to the anticipation is the musical genius of AR Rahman, who scores the soundtrack for this grand venture. With legends on both sides of the camera, Thug Life is shaping up to be one of 2025’s biggest cinematic events.
